Course Tour

After a spectacular week at The Players Championship, this week the tour stops at PGA National (Champion Course) to compete for The Honda Classic Championship.  A tournament where some of the greats of the game like Nicklaus, Miller, Trevino, Weiskopf, Kite, Lietzke, Strange, and more have their names written into the history of the rich tournament. 

So who will lift the trophy this week?  With so many of the top 50 taking the week off to prep for the upcoming WGC Match Play, this is a great opportunity for some of those guys who need the win to get into The Masters, and/or exempt status.

The Uncrowned 5th Major? It's Player's Championship Week!

 

It's Player's Championship week and this is where last year, the seriousness of the pandemic began to take hold of our country.  A year later, this championship will have fans in attendance.  And even though much has been lost in the last year, this year is a chance for us to take a break from reality for a few days, given thanks for all we have, and to enjoy watching the best players in the world compete for this very prestigious trophy!

What else needs to be said right?  Perhaps the greatest ambassador the game has ever known and the tournament he created.  We miss you Arnold.  We miss your smile. We miss your personality.  Most of all we miss your wisdom, guidance, and class.  In a world gone cancel culture, Arnold was as inclusive as they come.  To know him was to be his friend. To have a passion for the game like he did even more special.
